Capri Live Theatre is dedicated to developing and producing unique live theatre. The division’s first production was Scaramouche Jones, Academy Award winner Pete Postlethwaite’s acclaimed one-man show. Produced in association with David and Mirvish Productions, it played a sold-out run at Toronto’s Winter Garden. Capri Live Theatre has a number of other exciting projects at various stages of development including a major musical based on Mordecai Richler’s satiric novel Cocksure. This winter, Capri will be bringing to Toronto Dicken’s Women, the award winning one-woman show starring Miriam Margolyes. The performance juxtaposes novelist Charles Dickens’ life against a number of his female literary characters.
